Design a Tutorial Site Design For Wordpress CMS

Step one:

Start with a 1000 x 900 pixels, black canvas. On your layers window make a new layer set titled Header. In a new layer draw a 977 x 108 pixels, #AC0020 rectangle. Center it on your canvas. Add a satin layer style.

Step two:

With your text tool type your website name using font Arial, bold italic, 22 pt, sharp and white for color. Add a gradient overlay layer style.

Step three:

In a new text layer add your slogan using font Arial, bold italic, 11 pt, sharp and #FFEA00 for color. Add a gradient overlay layer style.

Step four:

In a new layer create a 977 x 23 pixels, #B70022 rectangle inside your header design. This space will hold your main navigation links. Add a satin layer style.

Step five:

With your text tool type in your navigation links. Use font Verdana, regular, 12 pt, none and #FFEA00 for color. Make sure you leave spaces between your links and a #B70022 colored vertical bar.

Step six:

On the other end of your navigation space, add your RSS Feeds and email alert. Use font arial, bold, 11 pt, none and #FF75BC for color.

Step seven:

Now add a sample advertisement leaderboard below your header.

Step eight:

On your layers window make a new layer set titled Content Sample. Then in a new layer draw a 641 x 29 pixels, #3E0000 rectangle. Add the following layer styles:

Step nine:

Now add a sample title, category and comments.

Step ten:

In a new layer draw a 659 x 133 pixels, #E6E6E6 rectangle just below your titles. Using your text tool type a sample paragraph on the right side of your #E6E6E6 rectangle. Use font verdana, regular, 11 pt, none and black for color.
